Lisa Rae Music Studios are pleased to offer music & movement classes for infant thru kindergarten children as part of its overall music curriculum. Children of all capabilities (typical & challenged) are welcome!
Lisa Rae Music Studios, LLC invites parents or other caregivers (nanny, babysitter, grandparent) and their infant, toddler, and preschool children to attend one of many open-house presentations or register for our six to ten-week classes in the Robinson Township, Coraopolis, Moon Township and Sewickley Areas. Free demonstration classes of Music Together ®, a Family oriented music and movement program developed in Princeton are held throughout the year. Class space is limited to the first 12 children and an RSVP is recommended.
Administrators from community service agencies, pre-schools, arts centers and other organizations in Western PA committed to the creative education of children are asked to contact our studios to arrange for classes at your location.

Bon Voyage! Come and join musical tourguides from Lisa Rae Music Studios, LLC for an adventure that will include "traveling" to countries and hearing music from cultures that are represented in Western Pennsylvania. Through this class students will be exposed to language, art, music, and movement. They will have hands-on experiences with instruments and also will produce art projects that reflect the cultures covered each week. Using songs, we'll visit with our neighbors who came to America from Italy, Greece, Eastern Europe, Ireland, Mexico, Africa and Asia, and many more! Pre-requisite: Children between the ages of 3-5 with a desire to have fun! No adults allowed due to the extreme amount of fun involved.

WHAT IS MUSIC TOGETHER?
In a Music Together class, twelve children and their parents or caregivers meet for 45-minutes each week for 10 weeks (8 weeks in Babies class) to experience new songs, rhythmic chants, movement activities, and instrumental jam sessions. Both adults and children sit in the circle and participate, led by teachers from Lisa Rae Music Studios with early childhood and music skills.
The teacher helps adults understand how to participate and the importance of relaxing and enjoying the activities with their children. Families are encouraged to attend class together, so younger children and older siblings (up to age 5) can learn music and movement activities to enjoy at home.
Music Together is a music and movement approach to early childhood that develops every child's opportunity for basic music competence by encouraging music experience (watching and imitating the parent and instructor) rather than learning of information about music.
Children participate at their own level and when they are ready. There is no performance pressure and children are encouraged to respond spontaneously to the musical environment.
